Invelogy named among Startup Connect’s Top 7 finalists

Invelogy was selected among seven finalists of ICKK's Startup Connect programme. Learn how this milestone supports our vision for autonomous robotic security.

Invelogy named among Startup Connect's Top 7 finalists

In January 2026, we applied to Startup Connect. By March, we had reached the programme’s Top 7 finalists. Being selected by the Innovation Center of the Košice Region (ICKK) marked an important step forward – not only for our technology, but also for the business we are building around it.

At Invelogy, we develop robotics with a clear purpose: helping organisations protect their sites through autonomous security systems. Startup Connect offered an opportunity to challenge both our product vision and the way we communicate its value to customers, partners and investors.

From application to finalist selection

On 28 January 2026, we announced that we had submitted our application to ICKK’s Startup Connect programme. Our reasons for applying went well beyond gaining visibility. We wanted to sharpen our pitching and business skills, better understand investor expectations, receive candid feedback from experienced professionals and build meaningful connections.

On 9 March 2026, we shared the next milestone: Invelogy had been selected as one of seven Startup Connect finalists. It was encouraging news for the team – and a reminder that promising technology needs a compelling and sustainable business model behind it.

Reaching the Top 7 was not an end point. It was a chance to put our ideas under closer scrutiny, ask better questions and learn from people who have built and scaled businesses.

In robotics, demonstrating that a machine can walk is only the beginning. The bigger challenge is explaining which real-world problem it solves, what deployment involves and why customers should invest in the outcome.

That is why we saw Startup Connect as a chance to improve four areas in particular: clearer communication, stronger commercial thinking, better investor conversations and a wider network of relevant partners.

Our vision: a new generation of physical security

Invelogy develops autonomous quadruped robotic systems for physical security and industrial site monitoring. Our approach combines mobile robotic platforms with technologies such as LiDAR, cameras, thermal imaging and AI-enabled software.

Our longer-term vision is proactive site protection: robots following defined patrol routes, helping detect unusual activity and supplying information for assessment and response. The goal is to reduce repetitive manual patrols while giving security personnel better situational awareness.

We also believe that prevention matters. Rather than relying on physical confrontation, robotic security should help identify issues early and support an appropriate human-led response. A robot is not a replacement for professional judgement; it is another tool that can extend what a security team is able to monitor.

Building a business, not just a robot

Engineering is essential, but it is only one part of bringing a robotics product to market. Successful deployment also depends on customer needs, a workable service model, operational reliability and long-term support.

Through Startup Connect, we wanted to become better at explaining autonomous security from the customer’s perspective: which risks a system may help address, what is needed to introduce it on site and how people and robots should work together.

We also wanted to develop a more credible way of discussing the project with potential investors and commercial partners.

A strong technical vision needs an equally clear path to real-world use.

Starting with businesses, with a longer-term outlook

Our initial focus is B2B: industrial sites, commercial facilities and organisations that need regular inspections or security patrols across larger areas. These environments offer concrete use cases in which robotic systems may complement existing security operations.

Looking further ahead, we see potential for autonomous systems to become more accessible for smaller properties, holiday homes and private residences – much as security cameras have over time. That is a long-term ambition, not an announcement of a ready-to-buy home security product. It depends on advances in reliability, affordability and safe operation.

Thank you for supporting the journey

Making the Top 7 of Startup Connect was an important milestone for Invelogy in 2026. We thank the Innovation Center of the Košice Region (ICKK) for the opportunity and everyone who supported our work along the way.

We remain focused on moving autonomous robotics beyond demonstrations and towards practical solutions that deliver clear value in everyday operations.
