Invelogy has won Startup Connect, the accelerator programme organised by ICKK, the Innovation Center of the Košice Region. After seven months of mentoring, tough questions and steady progress, we came away from the final with the €10,000 top prize.
This is an important milestone for our team. It recognises the direction we are taking with Invelogy Patrol, our autonomous robotic patrol solution for site security and monitoring. It also marks a new starting point: winning an accelerator is an achievement, but building technology that works for customers takes much more.
From an application to the final
We joined Startup Connect with a clear vision: combine mobile robotics, sensors and artificial intelligence to support physical security in real operating environments.
Over the following months, we had to explain that vision to people with different perspectives, not just fellow engineers. We progressed to the top seven finalist teams, took part in pitch rounds and met investors. Each conversation pushed us to answer the questions that matter: What problem are we solving? Who benefits? How can a promising prototype become a service businesses can confidently adopt?
The final brought that journey together through pitches, questions from the judging panel and feedback on the businesses behind the technology.
Seven months that changed more than our pitch
The most valuable part of Startup Connect was not simply the prize. It was the opportunity to turn outside feedback into better decisions.
Mentors, investors and programme partners helped us sharpen the way we explain autonomous security and the value it can deliver. We substantially revised our business plan, adjusted our commercial model and defined a clearer growth strategy. Meanwhile, our engineering team continued developing and testing the robotics technology behind the product.
The experience reinforced an essential point: a capable robot is not enough. A successful deployment also depends on understanding customer workflows, support requirements, integration and operating costs.
Invelogy Patrol: Robotics built around a real job
We are developing Invelogy Patrol as an integrated solution combining a mobile robot, our own sensor and computing hardware, fleet management software and human oversight. Its intended role is to support routine security patrols, monitor defined areas and help operators identify situations that require attention.
Our initial focus is on industrial sites, logistics facilities and other environments with recurring inspection and security tasks. The robot can take on repetitive data collection, while trained people remain responsible for evaluating incidents and deciding what happens next.
Development and real-world validation are ongoing. Winning Startup Connect is not evidence that every capability is production-ready; it is encouragement to keep improving the system and its commercial fit.

Thank you to everyone who helped us get here
Our thanks go to ICKK and the entire Startup Connect team for creating an environment in which young companies can challenge their assumptions and make measurable progress. We also appreciate the mentors, consultants, judges and investors who shared their time and candid feedback.
Congratulations to every finalist. Learning from teams working on completely different products was one of the programme’s real strengths.
What comes next?
We are continuing to develop Invelogy Patrol, test autonomous navigation, integrate custom hardware and prepare for practical deployments. We are also building relationships with partners and prospective customers who want to explore more effective ways to protect their facilities.
The win and the €10,000 top prize are meaningful recognition. Our larger goal remains unchanged: make autonomous security robotics useful, dependable and ready for the realities of the field.
